At LUXTON, our Canadian-made pieces are a statement and a belief in a system of local, highly skilled artists, creatives, and craftspeople. They are the result of vision, effort, expertise, joy, artistic expression, and precision from every person who touches the product—from yarn development to trimming loose threads prior to packing.

Each LUXTON garment is more than just a coat—it’s a movement, a key that unlocks Canadian creativity, craftsmanship, and industry. By choosing LUXTON, you’re investing in a network of hardworking, highly skilled people and their families, strengthening the very fabric of Canada’s fashion and manufacturing landscape. To give you a casual bird’s-eye view, we’ve grouped the major tasks involved in our garment construction. Each task requires people with a specialized set of skills. When all of these individual skills come together, you see a garment. Drop one, and you don’t. It’s an incredible process—one that involves 55 to 60 people contributing their hands and expertise to a single item of clothing. We hope you love the results of our labour.
